Curriculum
Angelo Bonomi si è laureato Dottore in Chimica Industriale nel 1969
all'Università di Milano. Ha iniziato la sua carriera nel 1970 come ricercatore
nel Centro di Ricerche del Battelle Memorial Institute a Ginevra www.battelle.org
, conducendo progetti di R&S e ricerca scientifica diventando membro della
The Electrochemical Society americana. Dal 1980 si è occupato di studi
su valutazioni di tecnologie e, nel 1988 è diventato direttore della
Extramet, uno spinoff di Battelle per la ricerca su contratto e creazione di
startup. Dal 1993 ha iniziato un'attività di consulenza per le PMI e
in campo ambientale, contribuendo nel 2006 alla fondazione del Consorzio Ruvaris
www.ruvaris.it per la cooperazione in progetti
di R&S nei distretti industriali italiani. Negli anni 2001-2004 ha tenuto
corsi sull'innovazione tecnologica per un master di ingegneria gestionale alla
SUPSI, un'università tecnica della Svizzera italiana www.supsi.ch . Nel
periodo 2012-2022 ha collaborato come ricercatore associato all'IRCrES, un istituto
di ricerca del CNR www.ircres.cnr.it
, per una crescita economica sostenibile, conducendo studi nel campo dell'innovazione
tecnologica e dell'innovazione in sistemi territoriali. È membro del
Consiglio Direttivo dell'associazione "La Storia nel Futuro", www.storianelfuturo.org
che organizza dal 2005 viaggi studio nella Silicon Valley, e ora anche a Boston,
Singapore e Shenzhen in Cina, per studenti italiani. È autore dei libri
"Technology Dynamics" e "Technology Innovation" pubblicati
dalla CRC Press rispettivamente nel 2020 e 2023, e autore di tre capitoli sulle
strutture di innovazione tecnologica, modelli di tecnologia e startup in "Innovation
Economics, Engineering and Management Handbook", Volume 1 e 2, edito da
Dimitri Uzunidis et al. pubblicato da ISTE-Wiley nel giugno 2021. Nel suo sito
personale www.complexitec.org ci sono un centinaio articoli e documenti della
sua attività, divisi in tre sezioni riguardanti l'innovazione tecnologica
e la ricerca scientifica, le relazioni tra tecnologia e ambiente e la formazione
e divulgazione.
Angelo Bonomi obtained in 1969 a degree of Doctor in Industrial Chemistry at the University of Milan. He started his career in 1970 as researcher at the Geneva Research Centre of the Battelle Memorial Institute www.battelle.org, carrying out R&D projects, scientific research, becoming member of The Electrochemical Society and, since 1980, making studies on technology assessments. In 1988 he became director of Extramet, a spinoff of Battelle for contract research and creation of startups. Since 1993 he was consultant for innovation in SMEs and in the environmental field, contributing to the formation in 2006 of Consortium Ruvaris www.ruvaris.it for the cooperation in R&D projects in Italian industrial districts. He taught in years 2001-2004 courses on technology innovation for a master of engineering management at SUPSI, a technical university of the Italian region of Switzerland www.supsi.ch . In the period 2012 - 2022 he has collaborated as senior research associate at IRCrES www.ircres.cnr.it , a research institute of CNR for a sustainable economic growth, making studies on technology innovation and territorial innovation systems. He is member of the board of the association "La Storia nel Futuro", www.storianelfuturo.org organizing since 2005 study tours in the Silicon Valley, and now also at Boston, Singapore and Shenzhen in China, for Italian students. He is author of the books "Technology Dynamics" and "Technology Innovation" published by CRC Press respectively in 2020 and 2023, and author of three chapters about technology innovation structures, model of technology and startups in "Innovation Economics, Engineering and Management Handbook", Volume 1 and 2, edited by Dimitri Uzunidis et al. published by ISTE-Wiley on June 2021. In the site www.complexitec.org there are about a hundred articles and documents about his activity, divided in three sections concerning technology innovation and scientific research, relations between technology and the environment, education and divulgation.
